Prints
Prints are created by The Thanatos Archive with an Epson Stylus PRO 3880, which uses exclusively engineered Epson Archival Inks and MicroCrystal Encapsulation technology. The tiny 0.1 micron ink particles offer a wide color gamut and fine shadow detail, dazzling highlights, and superior fill in solid areas. Prints are made on premium luster resin coated, or premium glossy photographic paper, depending on the size. Near photographic reproduction quality is produced with an archive life of over 200 years.
The print(s) that you receive will not have "The Thanatos Archive" text on them.

Full Bleed and Borders
"Full bleed" means that the image will completely fill the paper with no border. In order to ensure full coverage, the image is laid on the paper so that it slightly extends beyond the edges. This means that the print you receive will appear slightly cropped in comparison to its store counterpart. Please note! In some cases, full bleed is not possible without cropping out essential parts of the image. In these instances, print orders will automatically be changed from full bleed to having four-sided borders (white).
Prints with borders will have an approximately 1/4" white border around the image. The entire, uncropped image, as seen on the site, will be visible on your print. If you decide to frame your print, borders will allow you to use a mat without obscuring any of the image.
Shipping
All shipping is via US Postal Service First Class or Priority Mail, unless otherwise specified. Orders are typically shipped within 24 hours. Expedited shipping is also available for an extra charge.
Purchase Agreement
- Prints are intended for personal use only, such as for framing and displaying on a wall or as gifts. Prints may not be reproduced in any form or resold. If you want to use an image for commercial uses, publication, or any use other than personal use, you must contact us to license a digital file. Please note that not all images on this website will be made available for commercial use.
- ALL RIGHTS NOT SPECIFICALLY GRANTED ARE RESERVED. Notwithstanding your purchase of a copy print, The Thanatos Archive retains the copyrights to the image. Your use of the image other than as expressly set forth in this Agreement is prohibited and may constitute copyright infringement.
- Images may be published on a website at 72 dpi only. Credit ("The Thanatos Archive") must appear with the image.
- By submitting an order for a print, you are agreeing to all terms of this purchase agreement.
Commercial Licensing
The Thanatos Archive provides high–resolution digital reproductions of our images for use in magazines, newspapers, websites, television and film, advertising, book covers, inserts, and more.
